FREE EVENT. A. R. Riley presents, in collaboration with EvilCorp, a poetry night to celebrate all that is dark and spooky. No prior experience or skill is needed to share the written word with your fellows guys and ghouls, only the love of words and courage to share your work or work by others that you love, with the community.

Read your own poetry, lyrics, written word, or perform the work of someone you admire.

Expressions of interest open now if you wish to read your work on the night.

An 18+, all ages, all sexualities, all species dating event from from beyond the veil. Step inside and meet new faces – human, creature, and otherwise.Whether you find the love of your life, your sworn arch-nemesis, or a delightfully strange new friend, there’s someone lurking here for everyone.

This is a not-so-serious speed dating experience where all are welcome, where you will have a chance to speed date other fellow guests as well as a few of our scare actors who will be playing the rolls of your classic red flags, just for a giggle. We won’t be taking or giving out anyones contact details. You do not need to be single, as you are welcome to speed date for a new friend or just for the experience.

You are welcome to give your own number out after the event has ended if you do hit it off with a new friend. Please be respectful, no means no. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. If you need to be told what ‘bad behaviour’ is, just imagine your mother is sitting right next to you (don’t do or say anything that you would not say in front of your mother).

This is our semi regular Gothic and Alternative underground market held here at Evilcorp! Each market will be different and designed to showcase the best of our local creators, selecting a range of unique, local hand-made and curated artwork, accessories and much more! Come on down, hang out in our relaxed welcoming atmosphere, meet some fellow freaks and pick up something unique! Support your local artists and venues who host the events you love, so they can always be there for you!

Join Twisted Lullaby for an unforgettable night as they unleash their brand new single ‘Wolf’ — a haunting, alt-metal anthem born in the shadows of the woods. With ghostly melodies, a relentless drum pulse, and a primal energy that will raise the hairs on your neck, ‘Wolf’ marks a darker, deeper evolution in the band’s sound.

Igniting the forest and taking the stage by a storm, we have two more incredible bands joining the party:

ViperSnatch — Bursting with fiery energy and bold attitude, this punk trio will ignite the crowd from their very first chord!

RVN//NT — A dominant force in metalcore, RVN//NT delivers crushing breakdowns and powerful vocals that hit hard and refuse to let up.

Finally, Twisted Lullaby — Fierce female-fronted alt-metal band, will command the stage with their captivating energy, haunting melodies, and crushing riffs. Blending atmosphere and power, they’ll bring the night to a close with a howl that echoes through the dark.

Join us for a night of heavy metal trivia inspired by the upcoming card game Gatekeeper — a new game created by local fans that dives deep into the legends, genres, and history of heavy metal. From thrash and doom to death, black, and nu-metal, form a team and battle it out for prizes, bragging rights, and an exclusive preview of the game before it launches. Whether you’re a casual fan or a lifelong headbanger, this is your chance to show what you know and connect with the local metal community. Registration $15 per person / or per team.
